Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), you will be greeted by a personal driver-guide or representative. They will transport you to your luxurious hotel, Mount Meru Hotel, located in or near Arusha. The night will be spent in Arusha in preparation for your journey the following day.

Day 2: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast in Arusha, head to Tarangire National Park. It is Tanzania’s third largest national park and home to a large population of elephants. The park is also known for its majestic baobab trees and diversity of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and up to 6000 elephants. Game drives and picnic lunch are included. After lunch, we will drive to the mid-range lodge, Eileen’s Trees Inn, located in or near Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, visit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the Ngorongoro Crater for game viewing. The crater is one of the largest unbroken calderas on the planet, with over 25,000 wild animals and a high concentration of prides of lions, leopards, black rhinos, elephants, and buffalo. The black rhino can also be easily seen in the crater. This breathtaking location is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and considered one of the 8th Wonders of the World. In the afternoon, drive to the mid-range tented camp, Into Wild Africa, located inside Serengeti National Park for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park to Karatu

Begin the day with an early morning game drive in the Serengeti, known for its vast plains and big cats. The Serengeti is home to the largest mammal migration in the world, attracting many tourists for its wildebeest and zebra migrations.

Day 5 Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

After breakfast at your accommodation, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for a game-viewing drive with a picnic lunch. The park’s varied habitat attracts a wide variety of African animals, including one of Africa’s largest concentrations of elephants and Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions. You’ll also see large flocks of flamingos, attracted by the algae in the lake. You will have lunch at a picnic site and afterwards, further game viewing. Later, you’ll drive back to Arusha or to the airport and depart to your next destination.
