The Superior Migration Tour, which takes place in the months of July to October, offers visitors the opportunity to witness the wildebeest and zebra migration in the northern reaches of the Serengeti. During this time, the herds have typically moved northwards in search of fresh grazing grounds, and can be found in the Lamai Wedge and the Mara River area.
This tour offers the chance to see the wildebeest crossing the Mara River, a thrilling and dramatic spectacle as the animals swim across the river while being pursued by crocodiles. The migration tour also includes the opportunity to see the predators such as lions, leopards, and hyenas that follow the herds, and the large numbers of birds that are attracted to the migration.
